Before we got to the next match, we saw a feature from War Raiders that was nothing short of intimidating. In a dimly lit field with effigies representing The Undisputed Era, War Raiders made their statements quite clear. They respect The Undisputed Era, but that isn’t going to hold them back from destroying them in Phoenix. Those effigies were eventually lit ablaze, and War Raiders walked off, pleased with the message they’d sent.

Johnny Gargano vs. Humberto Carrillo

Our next match of the night saw 205 Live’s newest star Humberto Carrillo up against Johnny Gargano. Despite looking like Gargano was poised for a win here, Humberto Carrillo wasn’t going to let him get out of things easily. Carrillo fought hard, gaining an early advantage with his lucha libre skills and amazing agility on display.

Gargano fought back, slowly wearing down Carrillo and trying to gain control of the pace of things. Humberto went for one last effort with an amazing moonsault, but Gargano got his feet up. That was the beginning of the end, as Johnny followed it with a stiff superkick, a lawn dart, and a slingshot DDT to put away Humberto Carrillo.

After the match, Gargano spoke directly to the camera and sent a message to Ricochet to show up to Full Sail University next week for “all the respect [he] can have” from Gargano.

Grade: A+, While short, this was a spectacular match. Humberto Carrillo looked like an absolute star, and Johnny Gargano looked vicious near the end.
