WWE Royal Rumble 2019 Predictions: Will It Be Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Or Both?

WWE Royal Rumble 2019 is stacked with never-before-seen matchups, intense rematches, and of course the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble bouts. A few members of the Daily DDT staff will attempt to predict what’s in store for Chase Field at one of the more popular shows of the year.
As of this writing, there are nine matches on the WWE Royal Rumble 2019 card, with each one having championship implications. There’s currently seven title matches and the two Rumbles with a championship match on the line.
Once the card started to come together, it became obvious that WWE was pulling out all the stops to make sure the event had the necessary hype to get fans intrigued. It starts with The Man Becky Lynch who will challenge Asuka in what is sure to be a Match of the Night candidate. On the Raw side of things, we’re getting a dream match with Ronda Rousey defending her title against Sasha Banks.
A bitter rivalry between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles will culminate with a WWE Championship match. As for the Universal Championship, Brock Lesnar is no longer facing Braun Strowman, and will now be going head-to-head with the new #1 contender, Finn Balor. Both matches have a lot to look forward to.
With those matches set to take place, along with Buddy Murphy, The Bar and Rusev defending their championships, there’s something on the card for everyone. That being said, the actual Royal Rumble matches will be at the forefront of this card.
The Men’s Royal Rumble is filled with plenty of names that could punch their tickets to WrestleMania. Could Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins or Samoa Joe win it all for the first time? Will former Rumble winners Randy Orton or Rey Mysterio find success again?
As for the Women’s Royal Rumble, Charlotte Flair seems to be a clear favorite among the already announced names, but could a surprise enter the fray and shock us all?
