The road to WrestleMania always features its fair share of roadblocks, but the biggest one of them all comes in just days with WWE Elimination Chamber 2019, a night that could greatly affect the granddaddy of them all.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 features two matches inside the Elimination Chamber itself with both matches being two of the most important matches in the WWE in quite a while, both with championships at stake.
The rest of the card is still being finalized, but there are several superstars that could greatly use a win. Let’s take a look at the three superstars that need a win the most at WWE Elimination Chamber 2019.
3. The Miz And Shane McMahon
One of the more surprising turns of events lately in the WWE has been the emergence of The Miz and Shane McMahon as the “best tag team in the world.” In what started out as on-screen comedic relief has turned into a SmackDown Tag Team Championship team.
The Miz wanted the affections of Shane O’Mac so he could form a team with the individual that won the best in the world trophy at Crown Jewel, but more importantly, so The A-Lister could earn the respect of his father. This led to the improbable crowing of new SmackDown Tag Team Champions at the Royal Rumble when Miz and Shane defeated The Bar.
At Elimination Chamber, they will get a huge test when they defend their tag team titles against arguably the best tag team in the WWE, The Usos. Jimmy and Jey earned the right to challenge The Miz and Shane on a recent episode of SmackDown and clearly make up the more established team, but the recent momentum of the unlikeliest duo to emerge in the WWE in a while is nothing to overlook.
There have been rumors circulating that this duo is bound to inevitably break up, which could lead to a WrestleMania match, but this reign should last a little longer than just three weeks. It would make the eventual proposed breakup more impactful and would allow another team to come up and take the titles from Miz and Shane that maybe normally wouldn’t be in the picture. Not to mention, they wouldn’t even necessarily have to win the match outright to keep the titles.
Maybe the breakup and buildup could start earlier than expected, but it just feels like this title reign and partnership should go on a little while longer.
