WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 is almost here for a night that promises to be a huge stop on the ever-changing and unpredictable road to WrestleMania.

Outside of the two Elimination Chamber matches, WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 offers quite a bit of other intriguing battles that are flying under the radar heading into the event, but could end up being show-stealers.

There are several important storylines surrounding this event even with the card still being finalized, but which are the biggest heading into the pay-per-view? Let’s take a look at the three biggest storylines heading into WWE Elimination Chamber 2019.

3. The Threat Of The Usos To The SmackDown Tag Team Championship Reign Of The Miz And Shane McMahon

Who would have ever thought a few months ago that The Miz and Shane McMahon would be the SmackDown Tag Team Champions heading into the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view?  Probably nobody, but that’s where things stand nevertheless.

The “best tag team in the world” dethroned The Bar at the Royal Rumble to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and the duo’s chemistry continues to build seemingly on a weekly basis.  However, Miz and Shane will face their stiffest challenge to date when they take on arguably the WWE’s top tag team of the past 5-10 years.

Jimmy and Jey Uso have been a staple of tag team wrestling in the WWE for several years now and have several different tag team title reigns in that timeframe.  The Usos will once again get a tag team title opportunity this coming Sunday night when they take on The Miz and Shane O’Mac, but can the new co-besties keep it together against an elite team like The Usos?

Many feel this team is one step closer to inevitable dissension, and if that dissension begins at the Elimination Chamber, the duo’s SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign could be over at only three weeks.

The Usos don’t need to have the titles right now necessarily, but if the WWE decides to ultimately break up Miz and Shane and build towards a WrestleMania match, it could begin here.

Seeing the co-besties storyline play out over the past couple of months has been enjoyable, but the bigger storyline heading into Elimination Chamber is if this makeshift team can outlast the standard bearer in the WWE for tag team wrestling.
