With Elimination Chamber set to determine the fate of the WWE Championship this Sunday, SmackDown looks to decide who will get the upper hand in the dangerous structure with a major gauntlet match!

Elimination Chamber is set to return this Sunday, and SmackDown looks like it will be the brand to watch.

Not only does the blue brand have their own 3 teams ready to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, SmackDown also plays host to the only singles Elimination Chamber match.

That match will likely decide the fate of the WWE Championship heading into WrestleMania, making it arguably one of the most high stakes matches we will see in the next 2 months.

Given the high-profile nature of the match, it then makes sense that the last SmackDown before said match features a major angle to promote it. This week all 6 participants in the Elimination Chamber will square off in a gauntlet match to determine who will get to enter the structure last this Sunday.

This looks like the perfect sort of match to keep a go-home show interesting.

While we truthfully don’t know the order of how the superstars will enter yet, which makes the storyline logic of trying to win the entire match a little questionable for some competitors given it’s proximity to the actual Elimination Chamber match, it will surely help make an entertaining episode.

At the moment, that looks to be quite the positive thing considering we only really have one other segment currently announced for the show. That segment, the first-ever episode of McMiz TV, could very well be a highlight all on it’s own however.
