One of the annual stops on the Road to WrestleMania is here, with WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 upon us. Check out the full match card and details on how to watch below!
It’s been an interesting few weeks in WWE since the Royal Rumble came to an end. The WWE Universe has seen teases of intergender competition, the creation of WrestleMania main events, ill-timed injuries, and superstar suspensions. But after all that, WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 is the next stop on the Road to WrestleMania.
The main draw of the annual Elimination Chamber pay per view is the namesake structure. First unveiled to the wrestling world in 2002, the structure is like a steel cage on steroids. A huge cage surrounding the ring and ringside area, the Chamber also includes four pods to allow for entry into the match at regular intervals. Two superstars or teams start things off, and the match continues until every superstar or team but one has been pinned or forced to submit.
At this year’s Elimination Chamber event, there will be two matches taking place inside the structure. One will have six of SmackDown Live‘s most accomplished superstars battling for the WWE Championship. The other is a cross-brand match featuring six teams looking to become the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
There’s five other matches on the card, including four other championship encounters. In addition, there’s a no disqualification match that pits two of Raw‘s most monstrous superstars against each other.
