Ricochet debuted on the WWE main roster this week, teaming up with Finn Balor to take on Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley on Raw before facing Eric Young on SmackDown Live. Here are five dream matches for the “One and Only”.
The WWE TV ratings shot up this week thanks to the appearances of Ricochet, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and Aleister Black on both Raw and SmackDown Live. These four are considered among the best male superstars on the roster, as all four have either held the NXT Championship or the North American Championship since the start of 2018.
Out of all four of these wrestlers, Ricochet might have the most potential on the main roster. He even received a ringing endorsement from The Rock, who sees The One and Only as a future world champion in WWE.
Ricochet wrestles like a superhero with his flips, and his strength often goes underrated. Based on his matches against Johnny Gargano, The Velveteen Dream, and Adam Cole, it’s also evident that Ricochet is capable of telling nuanced stories in the ring; contrary to what those unfamiliar with his work once said, he is NOT just an athlete who performs spots.
There are no shortage of great opponents for a wrestler of Ricochet’s caliber, so let’s take a look at five possible “dream matches” for the former NXT North American Champion.
