Shayna Baszler must defend the WWE NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and Kairi Sane in a Fatal Four-Way match at TakeOver: New York, and here are three reasons why the EST must win.

Bianca Belair has been one of WWE NXT’s most impressive stars since first making her presence felt in 2017 at the Mae Young Classic, and she has her second career opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship on Apr. 5 at TakeOver: New York.

But instead of just facing Shayna Baszler, the only two-time women’s champion in the brand’s history, one-on-one for the title, Belair must also contend with two of the best wrestlers in the world in Io Shirai and Kairi Sane. Belair has been in the ring with both women before, competing against Sane at the Mae Young Classic before facing Shirai on the Mar. 13 episode of NXT in a match that was ruined by Baszler.

In Belair’s first title match, she just came up short against Baszler at TakeOver: Phoenix, thanks to interference from Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke. The “EST” also had the match won at one point, but the referee was too injured to count to three.

At TakeOver: New York, however, Belair must prevail against her three opponents, and here are a trio of reasons why the “EST” must reign supreme in the NXT Women’s Division.
