The IIconics have been calling out the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley, in backstage promos, and the Boss’N’Hug Connection are headed to WWE SmackDown to confront their potential WrestleMania 35 opponents. And they’ll already set to take on the Divas of Doom, Beth Phoenix and Natalya.

Sasha Banks and Bayley are here to make the Women’s Tag Team Championships the most prestigious titles on Monday Night Raw, and, in order to do that, they will appear on SmackDown Live to prove to the WWE Universe that these new championships will be defended across all brands. They already teased a future big-match confrontation with The Sky Pirates, Kairi Sane and Io Shirai, in NXT, and some fans are wondering if a dream multi-woman match at ‘Mania could be in the cards for the inaugural tag champs.

On the Mar. 18 episode of Raw in Chicago, Bayley told Charly Caruso that the Boss’N’Hug Connection will head to SmackDown Live in Indianapolis tomorrow to confront The IIconics, who accused Sasha and Bayley of “ducking” them.

There’s no doubt that Peyton Royce and Billie Kay would make great opponents for Bayley and Banks on the big stage, but if they do get a Women’s Tag Title opportunity at ‘Mania, they won’t be alone.

Beth Phoenix announced that she’s coming out of retirement, cutting a fiery promo about how Nia Jax and Tamina woke “the dragon” while she was on commentary during last week’s match in Pittsburgh. She and Natalya traded verbal barbs with Sasha and Bayley, before Nattie heard enough of Banks, who remarked that Natalya was simply riding Beth’s coattails in order to get a WrestleMania match. Natalya slapped Sasha, things broke down, and the Boss’N’Hug accepted the Divas of Doom’s WrestleMania challenge.

The Women’s Tag Titles already feel like a massive deal, and this angle between the Divas of Doom and the Boss’N’Hug is on fire already. Throw in the IIconics as possible opponents and another amazing segment scheduled for tomorrow’s show in Indianapolis, and the WWE Universe should be beyond excited for this possible title match at ‘Mania. It’s unclear who will be in the match besides Nattie, Beth, Sasha, and Bayley, but, again, this segment was awesome and all comers seem to be welcome to the ambitious champs.

Next. Guess who Kurt Angle's WrestleMania opponent is?. dark

I can’t praise Sasha and Bayley’s savageness in their segment enough, and the ensuing brawl/match between Nattie and Banks was also well-worth the price of admission before Nia Jax and Tamina intervened. It will be exciting to see how the Boss’N’Hug up the ante when they take on Royce and Kay tomorrow in a must-see segment, because these two women are elite superstars at their absolute best.

As of right now, a Boss’N’Hug vs. Divas of Doom vs. Nia and Tamina vs. IIconics Fatal Four-Way seems likely, based on the events that transpired at Raw. (That said, Nia mostly went after Beth in a potential dream match for the two, so this is another development to watch during WrestleMania season, especially if Divas of Doom choose to face Nia and Tamina first before going after the titles.)
