The WWE Raw after WrestleMania rivals “The Showcase of the Immortals” in moments produced over the past few years: the return of Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns declaring that the WWE ring is now his yard, Dolph Ziggler cashing in Money in the Bank, the re-organization of Degeneration-X after WrestleMania 14. On this night, WWE seems to be more hyper-aware than any other, as they now know that they need to keep the WWE Universe enthralled throughout the entire year.
It’s one of the biggest nights of the year where fans can reliably expect the unexpected. Returns, surprises, title changes, unforgettable matches, they’re all a possibility. Predicting what may happen at this year’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania is a little more difficult than past years. Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Aleister Black, and Ricochet have already debuted on the main roster, as have other NXT talents.
There does not appear to be a free agent in professional wrestling who is on the fence between WWE and another company. I’m fairly certain Kenny Omega is busy.
