The 35th installment of the granddaddy of them all is less than a week away with WWE WrestleMania 35 looming on what promises to be a future-changing night for the WWE.

WWE WrestleMania 35 will offer up some of the biggest matches the WWE has seen in a long time, including the first-ever WrestleMania main event to feature women, an unexpected WWE Championship opportunity, and much more.

But out of everything set to take place this coming Sunday night, what are the biggest storylines heading into the show of shows?  Let’s take a look at the three biggest storylines heading into WWE WrestleMania 35.

3. Batista’s Quest To End Triple H’s Career

It has been nearly five years since Batista last competed in a match in the WWE alongside former Evolution members Triple H and Randy Orton.  However, heading into WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, The Animal will be back inside the squared circle for what could be the final time.

His recent return caught everyone by surprise, especially the way that it went down when he attacked Ric Flair backstage on the night in which the WWE was celebrating his 70th birthday.  This was all directed towards Triple H, who Batista has plenty of unfinished business with.  He said Triple H has been trying to hold him back for years, but The Game says this is all about Batista’s ego.

The Animal wanted to face Triple H on the grandest stage of them all, so that’s what his actions really came down to.  The match was made official shortly after the attack on Flair and at WrestleMania, Triple H will face Batista in a No Holds Barred match.  However, the match got a major caveat last week on Raw when The Game revealed Batista requested that if Triple H loses the match, his career will be over.

Triple H agreed and at WrestleMania, if The Game loses to The Animal, his in-ring WWE career will be over with.  This has fueled Batista’s recent actions and return to the WWE and he wants nothing more than to end the career of his former Evolution mentor turned bitter enemy.  In what could be Batista’s final match in the WWE, he can do whatever it takes under No Holds Barred rules to end Triple H’s career.

The gloves will come off at WrestleMania 35 and The King Of King’s historic WWE career could be in jeopardy at the hands of The Animal.
