2. EC3

It’s him! We found him! Look everybody, it’s EC3!

You don’t remember EC3? The NXT call-up, and former Impact Wrestling star?

Honestly, I wouldn’t blame you. EC3 has been missing for longer than even I would have imagined at this point.

Fortunately, EC3 seems to have been rediscovered. He’s been featured in segments on both WWE Raw and SmackDown Live this week, albeit without any of the hype that previously surrounded his main roster appearances.

I, for one, am personally so glad I had to wait all that time to hear EC3’s first promos only to have him talk about his love of “Weekend Update” with Tyler Breeze.

Sarcasm aside, EC3 would make a great winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, if only because it would mean he actually won a match. A WrestleMania match at that too!

A win would arguably signify that WWE may just actually have some long-term plan for EC3 beyond losing to Apollo Crews on Main Event. Yes, that Main Event.

If it weren’t for the fact that he’s been pushed so far into obscurity, EC3 would actually probably top this list. At this point though, I would honestly be happy with just a strong showing in the battle royal that could lead to a small mid-card rivalry post-WrestleMania.

My expectations are really that low right now for WWE to push EC3.
