1.  Andrade

If any superstar indisputably deserves to walk out of this match at WrestleMania with his head held high, it’s Andrade.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Andrade has been one of the most impressive competitors in WWE over the last few months.

His matches with Rey Mysterio have been some of the best in 2019. He looked every bit like a future star in the making in those efforts.

Then, just when it seemed as though his immense in-ring skills would finally earn him the recognition he deserved on the main roster, he was thrown into the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Andrade deserved better than this at WrestleMania. If this is the best WWE is willing to give him now though, he at least deserves to win the whole battle royal.

A victory for Andrade, if it were combined with the push many thought he was in line to receive, would help to build this battle royal into what could actually be seen as a star-making match. That’s because there’s just no denying Andrade is going to be a star. He’s too talented, with too much fan support, to be held down like this for long.

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal should be the last stepping stone to a solidified spot as a mid-card contender after WrestleMania, if not a major championship opportunity, for Andrade.

He’s already proven his ring skills are more than up to par, he has a great gimmick and talented manager, all he really needs is the company backing to put it all together. WrestleMania, and by extension the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, should be a sign that 2019 is going to be the year of ‘El Idolo’.
