Andrade

Rey Mysterio and Andrade have become closely linked over the past few months after their highly-acclaimed series of matches on SmackDown Live, which should stand the test of time as among the best television matches in WWE history. Seriously, they brought a different type of speed, athleticism, and creative thinking to the table with their work, and they are among the greatest geniuses in wrestling today.

We were supposed to see the fourth match between them on the go-home show of SmackDown before WWE WrestleMania 35, but Mysterio’s injury to Baron Corbin the night before prevented this highly-anticipated match from taking place.

If Mysterio can’t go on April 7, Andrade would be a natural replacement for Mysterio. He’s been involved in the United States Championship picture, falling to Joe in a Fatal Four-Way match that included Rey and R-Truth. While Andrade is already announced for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and is viewed as among the favorites to win the match, it’d be quite easy for WWE to move him into the United States Championship match.

Furthermore, Andrade and Joe would tear the house down, regardless of the current heel/face alignment. It’d be easy for the crowd to get behind Andrade and Zelina Vega, who both have the WWE Universe’s utmost respect especially after their work in NXT.
