WWE: 10 Moves We Want For the Superstar Shake-Up
Luke Harper to Raw
Making his long-awaited return from injury, Luke Harper competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. While he didn’t come out victorious, we got seeds of a potential feud with former Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman. Prior to his injury, Harper was in a tag team with Rowan known as The Bludgeon Brothers, which failed to connect and was then ended thanks to injuries to each member.
Rowan has found a new home at the side of Daniel Bryan, but Harper needs a new lease on life as a WWE superstar. The best way to do that is to move the big man to Raw, where he could pursue the Intercontinental Championship, push his way to the Universal Title picture, or finally clash with Braun Strowman in what would certainly be a must-see rivalry.
Ember Moon to SmackDown Live
While I would have initially suggested Ember Moon as a potential fresh match-up for Naomi on Raw, it seems like she’d be better off starting new on SmackDown Live. There’s the obvious chance for fresh competition against the likes of Carmella or Becky Lynch, but perhaps the most interesting opportunity comes in the form of a longtime rival of Ember Moon’s.
Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka remains a threatening force in the women’s division on SmackDown Live. While Moon has gotten a one-up on Asuka on a few occasions, she’s yet to defeat her in one-on-one competition. Moon failed more than once to capture the NXT Women’s Championship from Asuka, only capturing the title after Asuka had moved to the main roster and relinquished the belt. The renewing of this rivalry has to happen, and SmackDown Live is the place to do it.
