Aleister Black, Ricochet, and Ali vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, and Andrade

Result: Ali gets the winning pin with a 450 on Andrade

Before the big six-man tag between The New Day and The Bar plus Drew McIntyre, we have a different six-man tag match set between Aleister Black, Ricochet, and Ali and Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, and Andrade. We saw Ricochet and Black defeat Bobby Roode and Chad Gable last night, but can they pull off the victory tonight with Ali by their side?

Nakamura began the match against Ricochet, with the crowd singing along to his old babyface theme briefly. Ricochet was looking lively in the ring against Nakamura, getting the better of the former United States Champion.

Andrade tagged in to start blowing Ricochet away with heavy chops, but he quickly started tagging in the other heels, as Nakamura and Rusev, who are tag partners, got to work again. That allowed Nakamura to get the upper hand against Ricochet, who remained isolated but was desperately wriggling his way open.

A cutter allowed Ricochet to get some space from Rusev, and he tagged in Ali, who quickly realized he’d have to use his quickness on Rusev. Ali tagged Black in, and Black quickly brought Ricochet back into the match. Frequent tags continued, as the babyfaces didn’t want the freakishly athletic Rusev to spring loose.

Black psyched out the heels with a moonsault, as all three men sat with the criss-crossed pose in the center of the ring.

After the break, Rusev had Ali trapped in a bear hug, with Lana and Zelina Vega cheering the villains on from ringside. Rusev screamed and wiped Black and Ricochet off the ring apron, further putting Ali in a predicament as Vega shouted words of encouragement to the powerful Bulgarian George Clooney.

Ali managed to give the babyfaces some hope with a massive DDT from the ropes, as Ricochet and Black desperately reached for a tag.

Black and Ricochet, former NXT Championship opponents, traded strikes on SmackDown, and Black unsurprisingly got the better of things, hitting a moonsault for a pinfall that both Nakamura and Rusev broke up. But Ricochet made them pay with a double dropkick. He followed it up with a moonsault on Rusev from the barricade.

Ali moved up to the top rope for a 450 Splash, and the babyfaces walked away victoriously despite a late surge from Andrade.

But just as Ali was celebrating, Randy Orton came from out of nowhere with an RKO!

Then, all of a sudden, Kevin Owens topped it with a Stunner on Rusev!

Grade: A, This was a fun match and a feel-good win for the babyfaces, and it was especially good to see Ali pick up the winning pin. But the RKO and Stunner? Those were the show-stealers!
