Braun Strowman’s big interruption

Carmella and R-Truth our out here on WWE SmackDown! R-Truth congratulates Becky Lynch on winning both titles, while Carmella reflects on both her WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal win and her successful Money in the Bank cash-in last year. But to Carmella, gaining a true friend in R-Truth has been more important.

However, the feel-good moment doesn’t last. Samoa Joe’s music hits, and while Truth holds him off initially, Joe slaps him in the Coquina Clutch. Joe then dumps Truth out of the ring, riding high on confidence after disposing of Rey Mysterio in mere minutes at WrestleMania 35 to retain his United States Championship.

The same United States Championship he won by beating R-Truth.

Joe takes to the mic, warning the WWE locker room that he could even beat other superstars in even less time than he defeated Mysterio at ‘Mania.

But guess who has something to say about that? Braun Strowman!

This is insane!!!

Strowman tries to truck Joe in the corner, but the Samoan Submission Machine fights back and traps Braun in the Coquina Clutch.

But Braun still has plenty of fight left in him, and he powered Joe off of him into the turnbuckles.

While Strowman couldn’t quite pick up Joe for the running powerslam, the statement was made: Joe will have his hands full against Braun and can’t just assume he’ll run through everyone in the roster, as impressive as his win over Rey was.

Grade: A, HUGE pop for Braun Strowman here, and this is a feud I’m ready for!
