Braun Strowman appeared on WWE SmackDown last night and teased a feud with Samoa Joe over the United States Title. Here’s why it should happen.

The first SmackDown Live episode after WrestleMania 35 did a lot to tease the Superstar Shake-Up coming up this Monday night. We saw plenty of red hot WWE Superstars from Raw make a cameo appearance on SmackDown to tease jumping ships. One of those Superstars just so happened to be this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner, Braun Strowman.

United States Champion Samoa Joe walked onto the blue brand last night off the heels of successfully defending his title at Mania in dominant fashion; he defeated Rey Mysterio after tapping out the luchador in less than a minute’s worth of time. Tuesday night saw him dispose of R-Truth in similar fashion.

The Samoan Submission Machine then grabbed the mic to put future challengers on notice. He should no matter who is in front of him, he would beat up any challenger – ANY challenger – put in his path. Suddenly, Braun Strowman came out to test that hypothesis.

Naturally, just as two wild boars in a jungle would, they had a bit of a scuffle. Joe failed to lock in the Coquina Clutch then bailed right before Braun could drop him with a Power Slam. By the end of the segment, we were all convinced that a United States title feud and match between Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe NEEDS to happen.
