WWE: 3 sleeper opponents for Finn Balor after Superstar Shakeup

After defeating Bobby Lashley at WWE WrestleMania 35 with ease, Finn Balor is the new Intercontinental Champion. Here are three opponents we’d love to see him face.

Finn Balor will continue the prestige of the Intercontinental Champion, whether he remains on Raw or moves to SmackDown Live during WWE‘s Superstar Shakeup on April 15 in Montreal.

At WrestleMania 35, Balor won the IC Title for the second time in his career by beating Bobby Lashley, whom he defeated at the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View to first capture the title. Only through Lio Rush’s crucial interference did Balor lose the championship on an episode of Raw, but he exacted his revenge on Lashley at WrestleMania as the undefeated “Demon”.

Balor and Lashley will, presumably, go their separate ways during the Superstar Shakeup after a lengthy feud on Raw. And if Balor’s fun match with a returning Sami Zayn on the Raw after WrestleMania is any indication, he’ll get to defend the title against a wide variety of opponents, perhaps in an “Open Challenge” format similar to what Seth Rollins did with the IC Title last year.

So here are three under-the-radar opponents I’d like to see Balor face after the Superstar Shakeup, with two of these superstars currently being “exclusive” to the Blue Brand.
