Ricochet

Ricochet’s first main roster match came on Feb. 18 when he teamed up with Finn Balor to face the duo of Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush, who were embroiled in a vicious rivalry with Finn the week before the Elimination Chamber. (The same PPV where Balor won the IC Title for the first time after falling short in classic matches with Seth Rollins for the better part of 2018.)

While it was awesome watching Ricochet and Finn on the same side, it’d be even cooler to see them as opponents in a match with higher stakes. Ricochet has all the tools to be a big-time star in WWE, and his sudden tag team with Aleister Black has been thoroughly entertaining; the two put together a special match with War Raiders at NXT TakeOver: New York before competing in a fiery Fatal Four-Way at WrestleMania 35.

But as we saw in NJPW and in his North American Championship reign in NXT, Ricochet is a singles star and is capable of being a great champion. He could give Balor a real run for his money, because while Finn is called The Extraordinary Man Who Does Extraordinary Things, he can’t even do what The One and Only is capable of inside the ring.

Next. Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan will stand the test of time. dark

Ricochet vs. anyone has the chance to be a dream match, but Ricochet vs. Balor could be particularly special. WWE called up wrestlers like Ricochet to create fresh matchups, and this would be one of the freshest battles possible.
