Cruiserweight Championship Match: Drew Gulak (c) vs. Kushida

There’s been a trend in recent years to give us a spectacular Cruiserweight Championship match during the Kickoff Show. While it’s unfortunate that the stars of 205 Live don’t make the main card, the benefit has been that they often get the time to tell a great story and put on an instant classic.

Drew Gulak has fought for “a better 205 Live,” but yet to capture the title. That should be remedied in the next year, and the perfect challenger would be recent NXT signee Kushida. After lighting up NJPW’s Jr. Heavyweight division, Kushida has come to the US to prove himself, and becoming the leader of 205 Live at WrestleMania 36 is certainly a way to do that.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) vs. War Raiders

After losing the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to The Hardy Boyz only one week before the Superstar Shake-Up, the writing seems to be on the wall about The Usos moving to Raw. Once there, it’s honestly just a matter of time before they put the entire division on lockdown and capture the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Once they do have them, it’ll take a special team to dethrone them. The perfect choice for that would be the eventually called-up War Raiders, who are currently in a dominant reign as NXT Tag Team Champions. Hanson and Rowe have been truly devastating in NXT, and would provide a truly unique challenge to The Usos and give us a great match at WrestleMania 36.
