Raw Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Naomi vs. Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke

As great as it was to see the women in the main event of WrestleMania 35, it’s sad to know they’ll be less likely to repeat that feat next year. WWE will likely want to at least alternate between men and women getting that spot, and the reportedly botched ending of WrestleMania 35’s main event will impact that choice, even if it has no business doing so.

We’ll also hopefully see both women’s titles defended in separate matches rather than shoved together like this year. On Raw, Alexa Bliss will look to regain her place at the top of the division over the coming year. A match against multiple opponents seems likely, and Naomi, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke all fit the bill as potential challengers.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon

While we may get a multi-woman contest for Raw, SmackDown Live could have the opportunity to give us a very well built one-on-one match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Going back to the days of NXT, Asuka was a dominant NXT Women’s Champion who racked up an undefeated streak that continued all the way to her ascent to the main roster. One woman who tried, and failed, to end that streak was Ember Moon.

When Asuka left NXT, Moon was able to capture the vacated NXT Women’s Championship. If Asuka resumes a dominant reign as champion, we could see Ember Moon as a perfect pick to win the Women’s Royal Rumble. Once doing that, it only makes sense she’d go back after her longest rival in the form of “The Empress of Tomorrow. These two would give us a fantastic match, and one that could create a star for years to come with Ember Moon’s crowning moment dethroning “The Empress of Tomorrow.”
