Kevin Owens didn’t have a match at WWE WrestleMania 35, but he’ll be a major player on either Raw or SmackDown once the Superstar Shakeup unfolds next week.

A former Universal Champion, Kevin Owens had an opportunity at the WWE Championship at Fastlane, falling short against Mustafa Ali and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match that was overshadowed by #KofiMania.

Owens supported Kofi Kingston’s march towards the WWE Championship, which he won at WrestleMania 35 in an all-timer against Bryan, and he made his return from two knee injuries as a babyface. It’s been a fantastic role for Owens, who hit a “Stunner” on Rusev from out of nowhere on the post-WrestleMania episode of SmackDown Live.

Given that Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura are a tag team – and Sami Zayn and Owens are bound to be separated, especially since they have completely different alignments – KO probably won’t be feuding with Rusev after the Superstar Shakeup.

So who could the “Prizefighter” face in the coming months? Let’s take a look at three possible options for Owens, keeping a focus on wrestlers who aren’t currently champions but are with Owens in the upper mid-card/main event scene of WWE. (The distinction has become increasingly blurred these days.)
