WWE: 3 reasons why Drew McIntyre should move to SmackDown
2. He could use a fresh start
Truth be told, McIntyre did not come out of WrestleMania 35 looking the absolute best that he could have ever looked. Of course, losing to Roman Reigns alone does not make him look weak, but losing in such uneventful fashion sure does. Considering the former NXT Champion all it took was one Spear to defeat him in just ten minutes in a match where he took more punishment than he dished out, it would be safe to say that McIntyre has seen better days.
Moving to the blue brand could be viewed as a fresh start for the Glasgow native. He ran through the Raw roster for a year, but failed to get a World Title shot and failed even harder against The Big Dog at WrestleMania. Moving to SmackDown would give him a new goal to achieve for.
Now only could we see him run through the SmackDown roster in a similar (this time, as a singles star from the start rather than starting off as a tag teamer with Dolph Ziggler), we could actually see him make a grab for a World Title in the WWE Championship. The possibilities are endless for such a drastic change of scenery.
