Although WWE WrestleMania 36 is one year away, it’s never too early to start looking at possible main events when The Show of Shows hits Tampa Bay.

WrestleMania 35 closed with Becky Lynch holding both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships after pinning Ronda Rousey off a crucifix, finishing up a feel-good show that featured Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins winning the WWE and Universal Championships, respectively.

It’s hard to top how much Kofi’s win and the women’s main event meant to wrestling fans, but WWE WrestleMania 36 should also be another can’t-miss show from WWE, who stepped up their game for this year’s WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns main evented four straight WrestleManias from ‘Mania 31 to 34, so he’s a safe bet to be in the conversation for another show-closing performance in Tampa. However, the biggest stars in the women’s division, such as Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, should also be strongly considered for the WrestleMania 36. Lynch is the most popular wrestler in WWE right now, and it would only take a simple flip of the switch for another woman, such as Banks, to join her at WWE’s peak.

So let’s take a look at five potential WrestleMania main events for 2020, and it’s no surprise that Shield brothers Reigns and Rollins will appear frequently on this list.
