Former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax is one of WWE’s best heels, but the Force of Greatness will have to miss a significant period of time after reportedly tearing both of her ACLs.

There’s no doubt that ACL tears are among the worst injuries that can befall a professional athlete, as they mean months away from the sport that they love most. However, many athletes have come back better than ever from an ACL tear, and I would count on WWE Superstar Nia Jax being among them.

Per sources close to Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, Nia Jax suffered not one but two torn ACLs, tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in both of her knees. It’s unclear when or how this awful injury happened, but, to be honest with you, it doesn’t really matter.

What matters is that Nia will be away from the ring for several months, and while most fans dislike her because of her character – and a certain, inadvertent punch – it is important for us to give her our full support. I mean, she’s strong enough to not need us, but it’s always nice to send positive vibes to an athlete during the arduous recovery process.

Nia made the above post on Twitter, and I have a feeling many fans will miss her and will be excited to see her back in the ring. She brings something different to the table as a heel character, and Nia should be praised heavily for not being a heel who falls under the “Mean Girl” trope. Nia is a total bad-ass who has inspired so many people, especially those of us who struggle with body positivity.

Jax last competed for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35, one year after winning the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34. That means Nia has competed in a championship match in three out of three years on the main roster.

Next. Sasha Banks has every right to want to leave WWE. dark

Again, we wish Nia the best in her recovery, and we can’t wait to see her back in the ring. WWE could even use her in a different capacity as she recovers, but sometimes a full break is best. Whatever the case, we’ll miss watching Nia wrestle on Raw each week, and I truly can’t imagine how horrible tearing both ACLs is. Nia Jax needs our full compassion and kind words.
