Raw to SmackDown – Drew McIntyre

With the exception of Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre has destroyed everybody he has come across on Monday Night Raw. There’s nobody left to fight. Time to give the man some new targets to face. The Scottish Psychopath has work to do.

Taking a top heel from Raw to SmackDown may seem counterproductive, but when you’ve been pushed as strong as McIntyre has, you have to find some new ways to make in interesting. New competition is called for and McIntyre would make a perfect first feud for new champion Kofi Kingston.

Additionally, McIntyre would make the perfect monstrous bully character. Throw him against a Rey Mysterio and the story tells itself. There are plenty of talented people on SmackDown Live who could benefit from this feud. R-Truth jumps out as a fun battle. Mustafa Ali is another and a newly face Kevin Owens is practically perfect in every way.

That’s before we mention the biggest fight. If you want to take someone to the top level you have to line them up against the best. Drew McIntyre against AJ Styles would certainly be the best against the best. That’s a SmackDown Live I want to watch.

Honestly, at this point McIntyre might actually need to slow down. Otherwise, we might run out of fights worth fighting until someone new and exciting can come up. He’s been casually destroying anything and everything in his path for a year now. He’s almost too good for his own good, isn’t he?
