Drew McIntyre

Although Roman Reigns made quick work out of Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, that was an important feel-good win on The Grandest Stage of Them All for The Big Dog, who was making his return to singles competition. Defeating Reigns is one of the tallest tasks in WWE, so McIntyre isn’t even close to damaged goods.

Far from it. WWE fans know how awesome McIntyre is in the ring, and while his promos have lost some steam since his main roster debut, that was to be expected. Still, fans hang on every word he says, and he has a chilling delivery that isn’t all that dissimilar from Samoa Joe’s.

It took Joe a while, but he finally won his first main roster title in March, capturing the United States Championship after debuting on the main roster in early 2017. McIntyre’s road to the Universal Championship or WWE Championship shouldn’t take as long, though, since he’s been in WWE before and shined as an NXT Champion in 2017.

Given his way with words, McIntyre would be an excellent WWE Money in the Bank 2019 winner, and he’d be a sure-fire bet for a successful cash-in. Though McIntyre is an elite athlete, incredibly strong, and not afraid of anyone, he’s also an opportunist who would relish the chance to spoil a babyface’s night by cashing in – especially if that babyface is Universal Champion Seth Rollins.
