WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Andrade

With all the goodwill WWE has received from fans in the wake of WrestleMania 35, it would be a mistake for Kofi Kingston to lose the WWE Championship so soon. So he should still be champion heading into WWE SummerSlam 2019.

Even though there are (supposedly) no more automatic rematches for a superstar who loses a championship, it would also be a mistake to take “The Planet’s Champion” out of running for the WWE Championship so soon. So he should still be in the conversation for title challenger.

Andrade is the wild card here, and if he’s not Mr. Money in the Bank by the time SummerSlam gets here, he should be in the title match. While personally I hope El Idolo is holding the briefcase, there’s a bunch of other names I could see climbing the ladder in May. So let’s say he’s not in possession of the contract, and throw him in the match here instead.

The best way to improve on what was the best match at WrestleMania, to me, is to add one of the most talented young superstars in all of wrestling to the mix. The sheer talent Andrade possesses should qualify him for every world title match ever, but who am I to judge?

I’m not always for triple threat championship matches, or fatal 4-ways, or whatever else there is, but these three superstars have the skill set necessary to keep the match interesting, and not always being a one-on-one affair with someone catching their breath outside.
