2. Oney Lorcan

Even if his run on the purple brand has come to an end, there are still some opponents for Buddy who are under 205 lbs that he’s never faced before. Namely, 205 Live’s newest member of the roster, Oney Lorcan.

Truth be told, Oney’s 2018-19 calendar year in WWE has seen him have tremendous matches on every show except the main roster. Whether it be in singles competition or as part of his tag team with Danny Burch, The Boston Brawler has made his presence known on NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live. Every time he steps in the ring, Oney Lorcan proves to be one of the hardest hitting smash mouth wrestlers competing under the WWE banner.

If the end of his Cruiserweight Championship reign means he is truly stepping away from the purple brand, then it is a shame that we never got the pleasure of seeing what Buddy Murphy can do in the ring with Lorcan. Maybe Murphy could squeeze one last 205 Live appearance for this hypothetical tour or for a farewell match. If he does, he’d have to cross off one of the few names he has yet to cross paths with on the show.
