Undisputed Era

As talented as the quartet of Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish are as individuals, you could argue that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts when it comes to The Undisputed Era.

That isn’t to say that these four wouldn’t thrive if the WWE creative team split them apart, but doing so would make it easier for them to sink into the inescapable quicksand that is the main roster mid-card, which what makes the teased dissension amongst the group in the above video somewhat troubling.

Hopefully, the minute bickering is simply a red herring rather than the prologue to Undisputed Era’s eventual breakup because these four have plenty left to accomplish on the main roster. Their presence on Monday or Tuesday nights would inject some much-needed interest into multiple levels of WWE’s programming.

Want to establish a new heel tag team anchor RAW or SmackDown’s respective divisions? Fish and O’Reilly could hold down the fort for several months. Need a formidable heel challenger for Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor? You could do much worse than Strong. Looking for a Universal or WWE Title contender for the summer? Cole has the all-around skills to keep either main event scene compelling.

In NXT, Undisputed Era showed off their versatility as performers whenever creative plans went awry. In that sense, this foursome may be the best equipped of any NXT performer
