Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will kick off Superstar Shakeup 2019, and wrestling fans couldn’t be more excited to see which trades unfold tonight.

The Superstar Shakeup is one of the best times of the year for wrestling fans, and tonight’s episode of WWE Raw in Montreal will kick off the “International” version of the Shakeup. By “international”, it is implied that superstars from NXT UK may receive a call up to the main roster, and while Pete Dunne has a rematch scheduled for WALTER’s United Kingdom Championship on NXT UK TV, The Bruiserweight looms large as a possible call-up.

After not appearing on the episode of Raw after WrestleMania, Roman Reigns’ presence or absence will be one of the stories of Raw’s Superstar Shakeup episode. Though Shield brother Seth Rollins is Universal Champion, Raw is still very much The Big Dog’s yard, especially after he vanquished Drew McIntyre with ease at WrestleMania 35.

Likewise, Dean Ambrose’s presence or absence will be worth watching closely. Bobby Lashley seemed to write him off of WWE TV with his beatdown on the WrestleMania go-home show, but there are rumblings that Ambrose’s time with the company isn’t up yet.

Becky Lynch’s first challenger seems to be set, as Lacey Evans floored her with a stronger punch on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. It seems like Becky is taking Evans lightly as an opponent, since Evans hasn’t accomplished a fraction of what the WrestleMania 35 main eventer has. But could Evans grab her attention in a stronger manner tonight?

The Usos, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, and Naomi are among the big names who could be traded to Raw during the Superstar Shakeup. All of these women and men either currently hold championships or have held multiple championships in WWE, and Raw could use a splash of star power, especially if the likes of Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Drew McIntyre depart to bluer pastures.

This year’s Superstar Shakeup definitely feels unpredictable, and adding to the drama are the statuses of free agents. Sami Zayn and recent NXT call-ups like Evans, Ricochet, Aleister Black, and Nikki Cross are labeled as “free agents” whose brands will be settled during the Shakeup. So who is staying on Raw? We’ll find out tonight. And we’ll also find out if more NXT superstars, such as the Sky Pirates or The Velveteen Dream, will join them on the main roster.

Check back here at 8 p.m. ET for live results, highlights, and grades from tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, which kicks off Superstar Shakeup 2019. You can watch Raw live on the USA Network.
