WWE Raw Results, Highlights, and Grades for Superstar Shakeup 2019
Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, Aleister Black, and Ricochet vs. The Revival and The War Raiders
It appears Ricochet is now a permanent member of the Raw roster, as he made his entrance on the Red Brand for an eight-man tag team match. And since Aleister Black made his entrance, too, it appears both teammates will be on the Raw roster post-Shakeup.
But the biggest addition to WWE Raw thus far? The War Raiders are here in Montreal to tag with The Revival! Yes, the NXT Tag Team Champions! Now THAT’S what I call a Shakeup!
Except I guess we’re calling them “The Viking Experience” now? Is that a rib on Kirk Cousins?
I also got a kick out of Michael Cole almost calling Ricochet “Eric” something before stopping himself. Just what in the heck was he planning on saying? (OK so apparently the War Raiders are now “Eric” and “Ibor???”)
And during the match, Corey Graves and Michael Cole keep asking each other, “Oh are Black and Ricochet a part of Raw? We don’t know… we don’t know…it’s full of surprises!”
It doesn’t take long for this match to completely break down, as the four babyfaces stand tall inside the ring before the commercial break.
“The Viking Experience” start beating the hell out of Curt Hawkins, throwing him around the ring with ease.
Zack Ryder gets the hot tag in this match on Scott Dawson, running all over the ring and hitting a flurry of forearms…to dead silence from Montreal.
Well, The Viking Experience, as you’d expect, won, pinning the the tag champs – Ryder in particular.
Grade: D, It’s great to see War Raiders. The name change? Not so much. This match in terms of quality? Lacking and not even close to what these men are capable of.
