4.  Buddy Murphy

One could make the argument that Buddy Murphy has been the top star in 205 Live over the past several months.  His lengthy Cruiserweight Championship reign saw him turn back challenge after challenge while carving out one of the best title runs in recent WWE history by some accounts.

Murphy always felt like a main roster superstar waiting to happen and after last night, that became official when he announced he was now a member of the SmackDown roster.  This is an intriguing and exciting addition to the blue brand given how talented Murphy is and how many superstars he could lock horns with in the future that most fans would consider dream matches of sorts.

Hopefully, the WWE doesn’t forget about him and let him slip through the cracks on the main roster.  Ending up on Tuesday nights rather than Monday nights probably helps his cause out in that regard, so if the WWE handles his main roster debut properly, Murphy could be a big addition to the blue brand and make his way into a prominent role sooner than later.

3. Kairi Sane

Fans had been salivating to see Kairi Sane on the main roster for quite a while after her spectacular run as the inaugural Mae Young Classic winner and then a standout on NXT.  Last night made the fans’ collective wish come true when Sane made her main roster debut on the blue brand.

The Pirate Princess debuted alongside Asuka as the surprise tag team Paige said will be making its debut last week.  The potential is through the roof for not only Sane as a singles competitor, but for this tag team with Asuka as well.  This could be a total knockout of a tag team that makes the women’s tag team division must-see moving forward.

Sane’s explosive offensive style and unique skill set makes her must-see in her own right, so seeing a superstar of that caliber on the same brand with some of the most talented women’s competitors in the business creates countless potentially-marquee matches.  The Pirate Princess should be able to help out the blue brand tremendously.
