Sami Zayn

Sick of the toxicity of the fans, Sami Zayn has become the perfect heel who projects his own insecurities onto the audience. Zayn turned a Montreal crowd that was willing to sing his entrance music for hours on end against him, and that Moment of Bliss segment was a microcosm of just how excellent this man is in all phases of the game.

One day, Zayn will hold a world championship, but it’s hard to see him truly emerging from the pack on WWE Raw. He and Seth Rollins should have a stellar program together, but he surely isn’t winning that feud. Anything is possible, especially with how gifted Zayn is as a promo and how much heat he’s absorbing, but the United States Championship seems like a more realistic target for Zayn.

With the way he’s going since returning from injury, Zayn looks ticketed for big things in 2019-2020. WWE needs to capitalize on the excellent work he’s producing, and based on his segment in Montreal, it seems like that’s the path for one of Raw’s newest additions. Somehow, the former NXT Champion still hasn’t won a main roster title, but it truly feels like that will change this year.

Rating: 7/10, Tough call, but Zayn is so good that I think it finally happens for him.
