WWE: The Future Is Looking Bright For Kacy Catanzaro

After a string of amazing performances, the future is looking bright for both Kacy Catanzaro and the WWE women’s divisions.
On a recent episode of NXT, Kacy Catanzaro received another chance to show fans everywhere why she’s one of the most exciting up-and-coming superstars in WWE today.
Teaming with Candice LeRae to take on Vanessa Borne and Aliyah, the former American Ninja Warrior was once again able to showcase a brief glimpse of her amazing athleticism and innovative in-ring skills.
Since her televised debut in the Mae Young Classic, Catanzaro has already cemented herself as a standout competitor. Her matches against Reina Gonzalez and Rhea Ripley in the tournament were both eye-catching encounters, while her time in the battle royal at WWE Evolution was a show-stealing moment on one of the most memorable WWE shows in recent history.
From her death-defying headscissors that start with a perfectly vertical handstand to her agile somersault axe kick, Catanzaro has proven capable of executing moves rarely, if ever, seen in WWE just a little over a year into her wrestling career. Combine that with her creative springboard attacks and unique reversals, and it should come as no surprise that you have all the makings of a must-see superstar.
In recent weeks, WWE audiences have been given more opportunities to get a glimpse of Catanzaro’s skills via both NXT and NXT UK. That increased exposure couldn’t come at a better time for both Kacy and WWE too.
In the promo after their win on NXT, Catanzaro and Candice LeRae made it known that they were looking to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. With the women’s tag division still very much in it’s infancy, the addition of an amazing team like Catanzaro and LeRae could go a long way towards solidifying that title picture as one of the most exciting in WWE.
Similarly, when Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair are inevitably called-up to the main roster, there will be massive holes to fill at the top of the NXT women’s division. If WWE starts building up Catanzaro now, hopefully by having her beat some opponents with that amazing twisting codebreaker-style finisher, that transition to a new era for NXT’s women’s division could be virtually seamless.

All in all, it just seems like now is the perfect time to give an incredible superstar like Kacy Catanzaro the massive push she deserves after already showing so much potential.
