In terms of SmackDown’s MITB participants, they are more credible winners for the MITB Ladder match this year because SmackDown has a more stacked women’s division.

Since losing the Women’s Tag Team Championships with Sasha Banks, Bayley needs a solid resurgence of her character as well as a strong boost to her singles career; however, she has been Raw Women’s Champion before and wouldn’t necessarily need a briefcase to win another title.

Rose is a wild card pick and could very well shock everyone if she retrieved the briefcase; unlike Bayley, she is a cunning heel who has never been women’s champion and would definitely need a MITB Briefcase to win a championship title, but it is possible that her tag partner, Sonya Deville, could either screw her or win the Women’s Tag Team Championships with her in the near future. Either of these scenarios could hinder Rose from winning this match.

Carmella is a former MITB Winner and former SmackDown Women’s Champion, so she most likely has the slimmest chances of winning. Finally, since joining the main roster, Moon has yet to capture a championship belt… let alone earn a championship match, and a MITB briefcase victory would help ignite her momentum towards doing so.

These superstars are all fitting contestants for this match and would all need this win greatly. However, out of these 4 announced superstars on SmackDown, it is foreseeable that Ember Moon has the greatest chances of becoming Ms. MITB and she is the safest prediction to make since Sasha Banks from Raw had not been announced for the match. Moon is too good of a superstar to have not won a championship title yet and a MITB Contract win could do wonders for her future on SmackDown Live.
