3. Cesaro

With The Bar’s run as a top tag team over, Cesaro is now back to singles scene looking to recapture past glory.

Fans have always felt Cesaro has what it takes in the ring to be a star in WWE. He has proven time and time again that he is capable of putting on top-quality matches. The company has trusted him enough to give him six runs with the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

If we go all the way back to 2012, the Superstar then known as Antonio Cesaro held the US Title for over 200 days. It was the first title that Cesaro captured in his time with WWE.

Could it be time to go back to the future?

Cesaro would do the US Title justice. If you let Joe chase him for the strap, those two could put on wrestling clinics night-in and night-out. I’ll, again, mention his last match with Ricochet. Who wouldn’t want to see them develop a rivalry centered around the US Title? You could bring Sheamus over from SmackDown (WILD CARD!!!!), jealous of his former partner’s success.

Cesaro offers many options as champion and he would be a choice that definitely would not disappoint.
