1. The Miz

I think there’s easily a case to be made for The Miz being the most misused superstar in WWE after WrestleMania 35.

Going into WrestleMania, The Miz was arguably one of the hottest faces in the company. His newfound attitude and intensity were a revelation, and that change in character led him to a standout match against Shane McMahon on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’.

Since then, The Miz has been virtually an afterthought though. He’s essentially been used as little more than a tool to put Shane McMahon over.

However, it’s not too late for WWE to recapture The Miz’s momentum. Miz has stayed relatively relevant up until late by being something of a sidekick to Roman Reigns, as ‘The Big Dog’ takes his turn at fighting Shane O’Mac.

With that rivalry seemingly about to wrap-up at Super ShowDown, The Miz will be left without any real attachments to any ongoing storylines, making him an easy candidate to move into a feud with someone like Samoa Joe.

Joe can bring out intensity in just about anyone, and would be the perfect superstar to bring out The Miz’s inner fire once again.

As a result, it’s easy to envision how great the promo duels between these 2 talented talkers could be as well. They both have all the tools needed to create what could quickly become one of WWE’s best rivalries going forward.

Overall, whether it’s The Miz, Braun Strowman, or Ricochet, Samoa Joe could definitely have a challenger capable of putting on a memorable rivalry for the United States Championship.
