WWE: Dana Brooke is electrifying in this week’s Main Event

Dana Brooke is one of the most underrated performers on the WWE roster. But on this week’s Main Event, she showed us what she is capable of.

I’ve been singing the praises of Dana Brooke for some time. She’s been one of my favorite Superstars since I got back into wrestling. She’s athletic, passionate and enthusiastic about being in the ring. I’m not the only one who adores her though, as fans have noticed that she really does have raw talent and are starting to cheer for her. On this week’s episode of Main Event, we got to see Dana team up with Natalya to go against Tamina and Sarah Logan.

The match was quick, but exciting. After some back and forth, Natalya helped Dana land a Senton from the top rope and over Natalya’s shoulders onto Tamina, which ultimately gave her the win. A very excited Dana and Natalya celebrated in the ring and I for once celebrated at home.

The audience’s reception to Dana is nothing to sneeze at. It’s important to note that the fans were chanting “Dana! Dana!” whenever she was in the ring. Renee Young even pointed out that we should all be buying her merchandise. This is all pointing to things going in the right direction for the underdog and honestly, I think by the end of this year, she very well could be getting a fair shot at either of the women’s titles.

Or, because she does have good in-ring chemistry with Natalya, the two could be excellent tag team champions. The two could be actual women’s division threats and we could likely see some high stake matches due to it.

No matter what, I just want to see Dana Brooke get a good, solid push to the top. Her participation in the Women’s Money in the Bank match gave me hope, and her win at Main Event has solidified that hope. Here’s  hoping that this is the year of Dana.
