WWE’s 24/7 Championship has been a huge success and there shouldn’t be anything stopping a woman from holding the title.

Thanks to R-Truth, Carmella, Jinder Mahal, Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle, the 24/7 Championship has been a massive success on WWE television. Some of the segments on YouTube have been viewed by million of viewers, with both the airplane and wedding videos being particular highlights.

We’ve seen women hold titles primarily made for men in WWE before, such as the Hardcore Championship and the Intercontinental Championship. There should be no reason for women in WWE to not be able to hold the 24/7 Title, as there are several women in WWE who could make this championship feel even more important.

Here are five stars in the women’s division who should hold the 24/7 Title at some point in their careers, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Carmella

The Princess of Staten Island has been an integral figure in the inaugural months of the 24/7 title’s existence, as her chemistry with R-Truth leads to some of the best comedy in wrestling. Carmella has always done her best to stand out as a character in WWE, and she’s shown that she’s willing to make fun of herself or do just about anything else in order to remain an important part of the show.

So it would only be fitting for Mella to hold the championship on her own at some point, and there’s a feeling that this could happen at any given moment.

And no, Carmella doesn’t have to turn on her close friend in order for this to happen. Mella could simply win the title on her own and still maintain her good friendship with R-Truth, especially when this storyline with Drake Maverick eventually runs its course.
