WWE Raw Reunion takes place this Monday. Nearly three dozen legends have already been confirmed, but there are five potential surprise appearances that would make the night truly spectacular.

WWE recently announced Raw Reunion, which will take place this Monday. The idea reportedly came from USA Network, and it could turn out to be one of the most nostalgic WWE events in recent memory.

The following legends have already been announced for Raw Reunion: Alundra Blayze, “Road Dogg” BG James, The Boogeyman, Booker T, Christian, D-Von Dudley, Eric Bischoff, Gerald Brisco, The Godfather, Hulk Hogan, The Hurricane, Jerry Lawler, Jimmy Hart, Kelly Kelly, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, Lilian Garcia, Mark Henry, Melina, Mick Foley, Pat Patterson, Ric Flair, Rikishi, Ron Simmons, Santino Marella, Scott Hall, Sgt. Slaughter, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Shawn Michaels, Sid Vicious, Steve Austin, Ted DiBiase, and Triple H.

As jam-packed as this roster of legends is, Raw Reunion should be about more than just nostalgia. There’s nothing wrong with feeling nostalgic. Personally, I’ll be thrilled to see stars like The Hurricane and Christian back out there, but they can do more than just appear.

The best thing to do with Raw Reunion is to use these legends to push WWE’s current stars. Just by interacting with such accomplished and well-respected names, several of WWE’s current superstars could be elevated.

On the current list, we’ve already got the potential of an interaction between Steve Austin and Kevin Owens. The right moment from “Stone Cold” could turn the new anti-authority Kevin Owens up several notches.

With the potential for interacting with others in mind, here are five more legends we want to see make an appearance at WWE Raw Reunion.

Kane

While he may be the current mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, The Big Red Monster hasn’t exactly been opposed to making some appearances for WWE. If he was willing to appear in Saudi Arabia at a show sponsored by the Saudi government (exactly one month after their murder of American journalist Jamal Kashoggi) while being an elected official in the United States, an appearance on Raw isn’t a stretch.

That appearance was essentially for a nostalgia trip and a paycheck, as Kane teamed up with The Undertaker to face D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels). With an appearance this Monday, Kane could do a lot more than simply help us remember the old days.

The perfect reason for Kane to appear on Raw would be a confrontation with Bray Wyatt. Since the premiere of Firefly Fun House, Bray Wyatt’s new iteration of his character has been met with widespread acclaim by fans and critics alike.

However, even after the most fun segments of Firefly Fun House, there was trepidation about how Wyatt would be handled once he returned to the ring. Bray Wyatt always had a good character in WWE, but poor booking and a tendency to lose big matches chipped away at most of his credibility.

This reboot could solve that. We saw Bray Wyatt, as a form he calls The Fiend, appear for the first time last Monday on Raw by attacking Finn Balor. Donning a mask reminiscent of something between The Joker and Pennywise, Wyatt could benefit greatly by facing down one of WWE’s most legendary masked monsters.

This isn’t a complicated interaction. During a surprise appearance by Kane, the lights could go out like they did last week. When they come back on, we see Bray Wyatt plant Kane into the mat much like he did Finn Balor. It sends a message and elevates this new version of Wyatt in the process.
