JAM: Since you seem so passionate about rapping and music, can you ever see yourself leaving wrestling and transitioning into music full time?

Rush: Oh, man, that is a hard one. Just because wrestling has been my dream for so long. I’ve wanted to be a wrestler ever since I was five-years old and that’s all I ever thought about, so going into music full time, I don’t know just because, you know, anything can play out unexpectedly.

And who knows? If my music one night just blows up and it’s doing pretty good and people want more, then I’ll definitely push out more music, but I feel like as long as my heart is still in wrestling and as long as my body is cooperating with me enough to take the bumps and the bruises, I feel like I’m always going to be a part of wrestling. Especially with having the experience from the WWE, I feel like wrestling will always be a part of my life, even if I don’t want it to be [laughs].

Because everybody is still gonna talk about it and I’m always gonna have that WWE kind of stamp on my name.

JAM: Well, whatever you do next, I’m excited to see it. Thank you for this interview.

Rush: Thank you so much. Really, I truly appreciate it.
