IIconics, one of the most entertaining women’s tag teams in WWE history, are not yet booked for a match at SummerSlam. The following will predict three possible opponents for the longest reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions at the biggest event of the summer.

Since winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35, The IIconic’s tag title reign has been quite uneventful. However, they have recently been contested by quite a few women’s tag teams.

Due to the injuries of Ruby Riott and Nia Jax, the women’s tag team division has been running thin lately. Nonetheless, new tag teams have formed and new rivalries have emerged.

Considering that The IIconics have not defended their championships on PPV since winning them at WrestleMania 35, they are bound to defend it on a “big four” PPV like SummerSlam.

The women’s tag team division is in need of serious revitalization, and a women’s tag team championship match at SummerSlam is absolutely necessary. It is very likely that The IIconics will drop the women’s tag team championships to another deserving women’s tag team at the biggest event of the summer.

Without further ado, let’s predict three possible tag team opponents for the iconic duo at SummerSlam.

3.) Kabuki Warriors

Asuka and Kairi Sane have been awaiting their women’s tag team championship match against The IIconics for a very long period of time. They finally got their title shot on SmackDown Live two weeks ago, and they won the match.

However, they won via countout and not by pinfall or submission, thereby allowing IIconics to retain the championships due to champion’s advantage. Their manager, Paige, asked management for an eventual rematch, which could take place at SummerSlam.

A women’s tag team championship victory would hopefully help revive Asuka’s momentum since losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair and propel Kairi Sane to stardom since getting called up from NXT. Sadly, that won’t sit well with Paige’s former Absolution proteges.
