WWE: Predictions for the SummerSlam card so far

SummerSlam is coming up and here are my predictions for the current card.

We are a week away from the Biggest Party of the Summer and the card is shaping up to be quite an event. Now, there are a few changes rumored to happen and matches to be added, but I will be working off just the current card to give you my predictions.

Let’s get at it!

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler – I think everyone is expecting this match to either not happen or happen super quickly. There are rumors of Miz being replaced by HBK (I would love this) or Goldberg (very indifferent).

This rivalry has been overdone and worn out, and Ziggler’s return has been less than exciting. The highlight of his return has been the promo a few weeks ago that resulted in Ziggler superkicking HBK. I want to see that match. Not The Miz, but if this happens, Miz is going to win. Otherwise, why even keep him as a babyface?

Winner: The Miz

Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair – This will be a fun match to watch. I don’t know how well Trish will perform in the ring after such a long hiatus, but if she is still decent at least, Charlotte can carry her and for good match-up.

It will be a fun spectacle to watch these two wrestling, but I think this will end up in the middle of the card ranking when all is said and done. History will point to Charlotte winning unless they want to lead to a WrestleMania match. I’m siding with history.

Winner: Charlotte Flair
