WWE SummerSlam 2019: 3 reasons why Ember Moon should win

Ember Moon, the Shenom of the WWE, is scheduled to battle Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam this Sunday. The following will give three important reasons why Moon should dethrone Bayley at the biggest event of the summer.

Ever since joining the main roster, Moon has performed in matches from time to time, but has never really been involved in any major feuds. Now, she is finally involved in a major feud with Bayley as she aims to shock the world at SummerSlam.

When Moon arrived on SmackDown Live via the Superstar Shake-Up, she was frequently bullied by Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. They slapped her novel out of her hands, and broke her Nintendo Switch, which ignited Moon as well as the flame in her luminous eyes.

In order to balance out the playing field, Moon needed a tag team partner to take on Rose and Deville. She then found SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley to help her, and they worked together to win a Tag Team match against Fire and Desire on SmackDown Live three weeks ago.

After the match, Bayley was impressed by Moon’s work in the ring, and thereby handpicked Moon to be her opponent for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. Evidently, Moon accepted the challenge, and these two began to play mind games with each other on the next few weeks leading up to SummerSlam.

These mind games were so impactful that these two could not even remain on the same page when they teamed up again against Alexa Bliss and Cross two weeks later. However, Moon knows how to win on her own, and she needs this win against Bayley this Sunday in order to propel her career to greater heights.
