KENTA, Karl Fredricks, & Clark Connors vs. Kota Ibushi, Tomoaki Honma, & Toa Henare

Connors started the match with Henare, but it wasn’t long before Fredrick and Honma were in. Honma tried his headbutt, but he missed. He looks so happy when he goes for it, and so sad when he misses. Connors, Fredricks, and KENTA got the heat on Honma. KENTA played the heel here so well, making fun of Honma.

Honma went for the headbutt again, but KENTA moved and went for a PK. Honma caught it and stood up, to KENTA’s dismay. Honma then hit a flying headbutt on KENTA before tagging out to KENTA. We get to see a rematch from night one here as KENTA and Ibushi start to kick the crap out of each other.

KENTA and Ibushi both ate a high kick from each other and dropped to the mat, and both men need to tag out. Fredricks and Henare tagged in and exchanged some strikes, but Fredricks hit a massive dropkick on Henare while Connors came in and hit a massive spear on Henare. Fredricks hit a massive fist drop, and they are instantly getting over with the Japanese crowd.

Henare and Fredricks exchange hard strikes and chops, as you can clearly see Shibata’s training on the LA Dojo guys. Henare hit a popup Samoan Drop on Connor and then a massive Rugby tackle, but KENTA broke up the pinfall. Fredricks avoided the first attempt at a Toa Bottom, but Henare managed to hit it and get the pinfall.

Result: Kota Ibushi, Henare, & Honma

Rating **3/4 (2.75 stars)

Suzuki-gun (Lance Archer, Zack Sabre Jr., Kanemaru, & Minoru Suzuki) vs. CHAOS (Will Ospreay, YOSHI-HASHI, & Kazuchika Okada) & Hiroshi Tanahashi

Suzuki-gun started the match brawling around ringside, trying to keep on top of the dream team of CHAOS with Tanahashi. It wasn’t long before they were getting the heat on poor YOSHI-HASHI. Archer was in the ring with him, and I’m pretty sure he got murdered about 12 times in 3 minutes. Then Suzuki tagged in and it got worse.

YOSHI-HASHI somehow managed to drop Suzuki and Okada tagged in and ran wild on everyone to a massive pop from the crowd. Archer came in though and nailed Okada with a Derailer. He went for a chokeslam on both Okada and Ospreay, but they both dropkicked him. Archer hit a crossbody, and Okada made the hot tag to Tanahashi to a great pop.

ZSJ and Tanahashi faced off, and Tana was able to escape the submission attempts and hit a dragon screw, but ZSJ locked on a triangle choke as Tanahashi tried to do the Texas Cloverleaf. Tana escaped to the ropes, but Archer, Kanemaru, and ZSJ were all in the ring beating up the Ace. This didn’t last forever though, as Tanahashi was able to counter an armbar attempt and get the pinfall over ZSJ! This might setup a match between Tanahashi and ZSJ for the UK for the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship on August 31.
