There will be various predictable outcomes at WWE SummerSlam tonight, but there is bound to be a shocking turn of events in certain case scenarios. The following will pontificate 3 bold possibilities that could plausibly occur at the biggest event of the summer.

From WWE Raw, the following matches are scheduled to occur at WWE SummerSlam:

(1) Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship, (2) Becky Lynch (c) vs. Natalya for the Raw Women’s Championship, (3) AJ Styles (c) vs. Ricochet for the United States Championship, (4) The “Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor, and (5) Dolph Ziggler vs. Goldberg.

From WWE SmackDown, the following matches are scheduled to occur at WWE SummerSlam:

(1) Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, (2) Charlotte Flair vs. Trish Stratus, (3) Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon with Owens’ career on the line, and (4) Bayley (c) vs. Ember Moon for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Finally, from WWE 205 Live, Drew Gulak (c) is scheduled to defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Oney Lorcan in the kickoff show.

Now that we are aware of what will take place on the WWE SummerSlam 2019 PPV card, let’s delve into 3 bold possibilities for the PPV tonight.

3.) Dolph Ziggler Sends Goldberg Back Home A Loser

Since returning to WWE television, Ziggler has lost every PPV match he has been involved in.  He lost two WWE Championship matches against Kofi Kingston at WWE Super ShowDown and Stomping Grounds respectively.

He then lost to Kevin Owens at Extreme Rules in less than 18 seconds. Because of this rapid loss, he began comparing his very brief match to all the very brief matches Goldberg implemented throughout his career in his multiple Miz TV segments with The Miz and Shawn Michaels.

Now, he finds himself in a match against Goldberg at SummerSlam after taking so many shots at him. Ziggler’s chances look very slim, but he has shocked the world in the past.

He is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, six-time IC Champion, two-time US Champion, two-time Tag Team Champion, one-time MITB Winner, and even a two-time sole survivor. As can be indicated by his accolades, this superstar is not a joke, but he just seems to win when least expected.

Considering that he has been on a notorious losing streak, he could very well pull out the win against a man who is known for winning streaks. Many can make the argument that Goldberg wants to redeem himself from losing to The Undertaker in what was a low-rated match at WWE Super ShowDown, but Goldberg already had his time.

Ziggler lost to Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens? That’s completely fine because he lost to current WWE superstars who need wins to propel their career to greater heights. Ziggler losing to Goldberg? That’s not ok because Goldberg has nothing to lose and Ziggler has everything to gain.

It’s understandable that the part timers in WWE need wins to show that they still “got it” but it shouldn’t be at the expense of young stars who are trying to make the company great week by week. As a result, let’s put trust into this business and hope they make the right decision with a big Ziggler victory over a WWE legend.
