Now that SummerSlam is over, the real work begins for WWE. The company needs to find a way to fix some of the major problems that continue to plague them.

WWE gave us a solid, yet fairly uneventful SummerSlam this year.

Don’t get me wrong, Seth Rollins winning the Universal Championship was certainly a big deal. Besides that, there just wasn’t really anything surprising or course-altering though.

That’s not to say that there weren’t legitimately great matches either. Both Natalya versus Becky Lynch and Ricochet versus AJ Styles were match of the night level bouts in my book. They just didn’t deliver on anything earth-shattering.

In a way, that lack of twists serves to provide WWE a challenge over the coming months. The company now needs to craft a logical path forward for basically all of its stars over the coming months without really anything to go off of from SummerSlam, aside from an already rocky start to an extended Orton versus Kingston feud.

To add to that challenge, that also means WWE is left looking at a set of problems they’ve yet to address coming away from Summerslam. Problems that could lead to no small amount of turmoil, or missed opportunities if WWE doesn’t address them soon.

With that being said, here are three areas that it would be wise for WWE to address to in these immediate weeks following SummerSlam, along with some easy suggestions to get them going on the right path.
