Every main roster championship in the WWE will be on the line in a matter of days when WWE Clash of Champions 2019 takes place in a night that is bound to shake the foundations of Raw and SmackDown.

WWE Clash of Champions 2019 will see championship match after championship match with the threat of losing gold surrounding every champion, and in some cases; superstars could lose not only one, but two championships on Sunday.

Countless superstars could greatly benefit from a win at Clash of Champions, but which three could use a win the most? Here are the three superstars needing a win the most at WWE Clash of Champions 2019.

3. Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode

The WWE has had its fair share of randomly thrown together tag teams over the years, but the latest example has come out of absolute nowhere. Seeing Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins win the Raw Tag Team Championship a few weeks ago surprised fans, but seeing what team would step up and challenge them was equally as surprising.

A tag team gauntlet match took place on a recent episode of Raw to determine the next challengers for Strowman and Rollins’ tag team titles, but the most random team in that gauntlet match had to be the makeshift team of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Ziggler was coming off the heels of getting squashed by Goldberg at SummerSlam, and all Roode had done in recent memory had been chasing around the 24/7 Champion backstage.

For as random as this team looked, wouldn’t you know, they won the gauntlet match and will challenge Rollins and Strowman at Clash of Champions. They have given them fits since then, but even though they shouldn’t have much of a chance on paper, Ziggler and Roode could greatly benefit from a win at Clash of Champions; that’s a move that needs to happen for multiple reasons.

Rollins and Strowman will battle each other for the Universal Championship later that night, so they don’t need to essentially hold the Raw Tag Team Championship hostage in the meantime.

In addition, Ziggler and Roode winning would allow the tag team title scene to hopefully get back to actual tag teams rather than just thrown together teams. Plus, maybe Ziggler and Roode can prove to be a formidable tag team on Monday nights, who knows.

The titles will be around the waists of a random tag team regardless following Clash of Champions, but at least if Ziggler and Roode win, they can give their undivided attention to the tag team titles.
